- 300g diced lamb (or chicken if you prefer)
- Pitta bread or wraps
- 2 tomatoes (sliced)
- Mint sauce
For the marinade
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp dried mint
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- ¼ tsp chilli flakes
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
For the salad
- ½ white cabbage (finely shredded)
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper
For the Garlic Mayo
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 4 tbsp low fat natural yoghurt
- 1 crushed garlic glove
- Salt & pepper
The Method
- Mix all the marinade ingredients and coat the meat — let it sit for at least 30 minutes
- Shred the white cabbage, add the lemon juice, olive oil, and seasoning and let it sit for at least 30 minutes
- Combine the garlic mayo ingredients and let is sit in the fridge until you’re ready to serve
- Fry the marinated meat in a pan for 10 minutes, add a splash of water if the mixture becomes too dry
- Warm up the pitta bread or wraps to instructions
- Serve

Follow these directions to construct your kebab:
- Spread 1 tsp of mint sauce on one inner side of the pitta bread (or down the middle of your wrap)
- Spread 1 tbsp of garlic mayo on the other side of the pitta
- Add a heaped tbsp of white cabbage
- Add a few slices of tomato
- Add a couple of tablespoons of lamb
